Gisele Bündchen US Harper’s Bazaar February 2024

Throughout 2023, Harper’s Bazaar wasn’t exactly our most favorite fashion magazine on the market. After all, covers with Kendall Jenner, Margaret Qualley, Leanne de Haan and Lana Del Rey flopped HARD. In an attempt to kick-start 2024 on a high, Samira Nasr ushers in none other than theFashionSpot forum favorite Gisele Bündchen as cover girl, who fronts the title’s February 2024 edition. Last on the magazine back in April of 2009, Gisele makes her reappearance 15 years later as she poses before the lens of photographer Luis Alberto Rodriguez. The cover shoot marks a first for stylist Carlos Nazario, who was announced as Bazaar‘s style director at large back in November. Nazario opted to dress the Brazilian bombshell in a Bottega Veneta crochet top and skirt for the cover image, with Gisele captured amongst a rugged landscape.

Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:

“Mixed feelings about it. Too much dress and almost no Gisele. GIRL, Gi… where are you?” asked matheus_s the moment the cover struck, suggesting the wrong cover photograph was selected.

“Can US Bazaar mess up a cover featuring the mighty Gisele? Yes, they can,” exclaimed tigerrouge.

Vogue28 ultimately agreed, responding: “Not at ALL surprised to see American Harper’s Bazaar messing up a cover with Gisele Bündchen. Per usual, Nasr’s choice in cover photograph is always extremely questionable!”

“I don’t like the cover, I don’t typically appreciate full-body covers and this one in particular just doesn’t do much for me,” voiced aracic.

Not everyone, however, felt the same way. MModa described the outcome as “absolutely divine”.

“I’m not Gisele’s greatest fan, in fact far from it, but I love this hybrid of glam and nature,” WAVES confessed.
