Pamela Anderson Proenza Schouler Spring 2024 Ad Campaign

Pamela Anderson continues to be embraced by the world of fashion. Since forever, Pamela has forever and a day been associated with Vivienne Westwood (fronting campaigns for the British fashion label, sitting front row at the shows and wearing Westwood on the red carpet). A fair few other fashion labels are now jumping on Pamela’s bandwagon (and rightly so), with the Canadian-American actress and model having starred in campaigns for Marc Jacobs, Jacquemus, Pandora and Aritzia of late. Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez of Proenza Schouler invite Pamela to be the face of their New York-based brand for the Spring 2024 season, and enlisting photographer Davit Giorgadze as campaign photographer in the process.

Read below the reactions on theFashionSpot’s forum members:

“She looks… sick? This is terrible IMO. Doesn’t make me want to buy anything from Proenza Schouler let alone want to stare at Pamela’s pale face for too long,” voiced RMDV.

“I’m sure she looks wonderful in real life, but the lighting here makes her looks so sickly,” LadyJunon chimed in, sharing the same attitude.

Lola701 most certainly wasn’t feeling it, commenting: “Proenza Schouler are such followers. They would have never had her if the Parisian fashion scene hadn’t embraced Pamela Anderson and deemed her as cool. It does not feel genuine and it seems quite off-brand. I guess they will have their viral moment!”

GoldenPetals ultimately agreed: “Very cringe. I can just imagine these two wannabes looking at this and saying ‘we served’ LOL!”

“Makeup-free is good but the lighting makes her look lifeless,” stated Urban Stylin.

“Pamela Anderson looks terrible in these pictures. I believe you can still look great without makeup, just under a different direction,” Royal-Galliano noted.
